Episode #3 Summary

Episode number 3 focued on social networking, beginning with a huge Facebook vs. Myspace debate that turned into a discussion about the pros and cons of both sites.

Our favorite new websites include:

  • Statuses all in a feed
  • 12 second video statuses (a video version of Twitter)
  • Internet Tech TV
  • Visual Bookshelf- A Facebook application that allows people to review and rate recently read books

  • Like Visual Bookshelf, except independent from Facebook and fancier.
  • (Thanks, Kendall L!) A site where blogs optimal for iPhone and Smartphone use are designed.
  • Google Docs- Online document sharing, editing, storing, and collaborating
  • Like Google Docs, but a different site where we wrote our letter to Barack Obama.
  • What would we do without them? A site that lets you stream video and sound.

The House of Bernarda Alba opens this Friday at 7:30, Saturday at 7:30, and Sunday at 2:00.
